I just realized that I have recommended the Anglican church to more people than I have the Presbyterian. I just think that that's odd. I'm sure there are various reasons for that... one being the fact that many I talk to are disillusioned Roman Catholics thinking of rekindling their faith. (And the Anglican church is closer to Catholicism liturgy-wise and would feel more comfortable.) The other being that the Anglicans aren't so terribly stringent on doctrinal issues... they have the 39 articles, but issues pertaining to doctrines of grace, sacraments, etc are left to the believer (to an extent.) I think the other has to do with the fact that I myself might have problems with the PCA's attitude toward other denominations and disagreements within the church. I don't know, perhaps I'm a closet Anglican... And perhaps sometimes I just get angry with my own denomination. I know there's plenty wrong with the Episcopalians right now... so I'm not saying that they're all good either. But I just thought it odd that I had recommended the Anglican church so often.
