Well it seems that the focus of yesterday's election has shifted greatly to a more somber and heated topic... The topic of abortion... It's kind of a mood killer.  The abortion argument gets on my nerves.  You all know that I'm a conservative confessional Christian.  So from that we all know that I'm vehemently against abortion.  But what are these arguments going to solve?  Not too terribly much.  The pro-murder/pro-choice people will state their same typical rhetoric and the pro-life/anti-abortion people will state their typical rhetoric.  I don't like it when people try to use anti-abortion as a political platform though.. because I don't believe that they're genuinely going to do anything to stop it and truly make it illegal.  Yes, if I had my way abortion would be illegal... But I don't have my way and as it is I'm a political cynic.

So here we are again with this topic of abortion... Yes, I believe it's a selfish (and unnatural) means to a selfish end.  Yes I believe it's murder no matter what trimester.  It's cutting off the natural life-cycle.  Whether you believe that a fetus is living or not, abortion cuts of the natural life-cycle for a selfish reason.  Don't even get me started on partial-birth abortion...

If you don't want babies don't screw.  If you wanna screw, be prepared to have babies.  When I got the abstinence talks when I was younger it didn't normally have to do with anything religious.  It always had to do with pregnancy.  It never had to do with STDs.  I always had to do with pregnancy.  Keep your damn pants zipped!

Young teenage pregnancy is not an excuse for abortion.  You blew it... If you're dumb enough to make a mistake that big then you deserve the consequences.  My sister faced her consequences, no she wasn't 16, she was 18 but that's not far off.  She and her now husband had their consequences for their actions... but they've lived up to them!  Just because you're young and stupid doesn't mean you get to skip out on life.  Life is NOT going to school, getting a career making 6 figures, retiring at 60, and dying in your bed soundly at 99.  Life is what you do while you're here.   Life is about making lemonade out of lemons. 

The ends do not justify the means. 

You can't take back an abortion.  There is forgiveness, but you can't take it back.

Life isn't perfect, and you are given hardships in your life that will shape who you are and will become.  Abortion is escapism... It's weakness... It's selfish.  Just because you can escape hardship doesn't mean that you should.  It's like people trampling others so that they can get to the exit of a building on fire.  Selfish... such is man's nature.  But man's nature is evil.
